A Message from the Coolest Member

“As a proud member of the Kikape Chapter, I can say without a doubt that this chapter represents the heart of what the Order of the Arrow stands for: service, brotherhood, and leadership. Being part of Kikape means more than just attending events; it’s about making a real difference, growing as a person, and building lifelong friendships.”

About the Chapter

Our chapter, part of the Tipisa Lodge in the Order of the Arrow, has a proud tradition of service and brotherhood. Since its founding, we’ve been dedicated to supporting our local scouting community and promoting the ideals of cheerful service, leadership, and fellowship. Over the years, we’ve organized numerous events, including conclaves, campouts, and service projects, all aimed at strengthening the bond between Arrowmen and making a positive impact on our communities. Through hard work and dedication, our chapter continues to grow and uphold the values of the Order.

Events

Our chapter plays an active role in supporting several key events hosted by the Tipisa Lodge each year. These include three weekends of Ordeals, where new members are inducted, the Spring Conclave for fellowship and community building, the Native American Experience (TNAW) to celebrate cultural traditions, and the Section 5E Conference for regional leadership training. Additionally, there’s Service Weekend, focused on giving back to the community, and the Fall Fellowship, which is a time for reflection and celebration. As one of many chapters in the lodge, we help organize and participate in these events, providing plenty of opportunities to volunteer, learn, and connect with fellow Arrowmen.
